Further to my email notice below, we note that most of you have either not updated your parents' permanent home address or have updated it incorrectly. Please see examples below of UNACCEPTABLE PERMANENT HOME ADDRESS:
Incomplete PRC address
e.g. SHAAN XI CHINA
JUNLONG ROAD CHENGDU SICHUAN CHINA
(there should be house no., building no., street no., province district code, etc)
BLK 28, #08-2 CHONG QING UNIVERSITY SECTION B, CHONG QING CHINA 400045 (there should be PR China at the end)
Singapore address e.g. #11-292 GLORIA MANSION 292 PASIR PANJANG RD; BLK 467 NORTH BRIDGE ROAD #10-5057 S'PORE 190467
Address that is c/o Ministry of Education (MOE) e.g.C/O MOE SCHOLARSHIP SECTION; C/O TEACHING SCHOLARSHIP UNIT MINISTRY OF EDUCATION 1 NTH BUONA VISTA DR, LEVEL 6 S'PORE 138675
NUS hostel address e.g. RAFFLES HALL 19 KENT RIDGE CRES S'PORE 119278
The deadline for you to go and update your permanent address correctly has now been extended to 16 Jan 2004. Please note that all subsequent payment of the scholarship allowance will be suspended until your permanent home address is correctly updated.
Please also check your mailing address in Singapore. It must not be c/o MOE. It should be the address of the place in which you are now residing.
