It gives you basic understanding on materials used in microelectronics, and the related physics. Recommend you to buy textbook by Kasap (same text used in ee2004).
Easy to pass, but not easy to get A+. Lectures of Teo and Ng are quite enjoyable, if the module is still taught by them.
