One recent policy is that you can read upper-level courses (like those offered in your dept.) independently. Go see the professor and if he agrees, he will supervise you for that course. This is a very exclusive opportunity, and good if you prefer that mode of learning.
ningtigers: you can contact (贾晨晔 yr1 common + double degree) and let him know that usp+double degree is not good, since you still need to finish 1st tier USP courses. Normally double-degree students dont have to do ULE....Hehe, wonder why i know all the knitty-gritty? I am doing double degree myself.
