Apply for a PhD Scholarship at IMI
The Institute for Media Innovation (IMI) at Nanyang Technological University
invites applications for doctoral scholarships in; 3D fashion simulation,
3D internet and social networks, interactive augmented reality, behaviour
models for virtual humans and social robots, virtual physiological human,
virtual surgery, 3D cultural heritage, group and crowds, and related topics.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to do research work in
interactive 3D simulation, using world-class equipment such as the immersive
room and real-time motion capture systems. Widen your exposure through
overseas research attachments with one of NTU’s numerous global
partners, comprising the world’s leading universities, research centres and
industry players.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines from a
reputable university
Strong commitment to research
Submit your CV, a brief statement of potential research, and two letters of
recommendation online, clearly stating IMI special program on your
application, at https://wis.ntu.edu.sg/webexe/owa/pga$rsh_main.menu. Please
email a PDF copy of your application to imi-phd@ntu.edu.sg. The review of
applications will begin immediately and will continue until all positions
are filled. The intake is for January 2012 and applications close on 28
October 2011.
