Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent experience
Experience:
* Solid experience with C and C++ and object oriented design and development.
* Extensive experience with linux software development, and strong familiarity with POSIX concepts
* Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts, and sockets programming is required
* Working knowledge of GNU development and debugging tools
* Working experience with routing protocols, such as BGP, RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF.
* Experience with security and cryptograhpic concepts, such as TLS, x.509 certificates, etc
* Some experience with Shell scripting is desirable
* Experience with satellite communication is a plus
* Experience with embedded environments is a plus
Job Description:
* Architect, design, develop, test and integrate iDirect Data-Path software.
* Participate in code reviews and improve software quality
* Support customers and the TAC as needed
* Other duties as assigned.
