System Architect x 1 (Coastal Surveillance and Vessel Traffic Management)
Responsibilities:
Technical Person capable of providing Area Surveillance and Intrusion Detection Solution with system such as radar, AIS, Thermal Camera, Microwave, Network, VHF Comms, RDF, C2 softwares etc
Capable of understand the requirement and selection of the following sub-system:
Ground and/or Maritime Radar System
Automatic Information System,
Harbour Automatic Response Transponder,
Surveillance Camera & Electro-optics System,
Electronic Warfare System,
Radio Direction Finder & GMDSS,
VHF Radio Communications System,
Integrated Communication System,
Network and System,
IT Server Technology, Virtualisation Implementation.
Microwave Link and Data Multiplexer.
Coastal Surveillance Operation System,
Remote Control and System monitoring System,
Video Projection and Management System.
Responsible for the proper Integration of sub-systems.
To analyse faults/failures and recommend solutions.
To participate and support shore trials locally and overseas
To perform system evaluation with the collected data.
To implement solution and conduct developmental trials and locally and overseas
To prepare training material and conduct technical training to maintenance teams, operators, project team members and customers
In charge of System Functional Testing activities (locally and overseas) and conduct acceptance tests with customers.
Requirements:
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic/Computer/Communication Engineering
Years of Experiences in Coastal Surveillance System and Vessel Traffic Management System in Maritime Industry.
Technically well verse in Radar System.
Competent hands-on skills with technical tools preferred. Knowledge of using Oscilloscope, Analyser, Wireshark, LabView and C-Programming and MATLAB, Linux/CentOS, Cisco Network Scripting.
Self-driven and self-starter engineer who is technically passionate about resolving technical challenges.
