As a regional business risk & security team member, you will have access to our full
suite of big data analytical tools to develop and implement strategies, technology
solutions and processes to minimize the risks associated with assortment(IPR
risk). And work with local Business Risk teams to ensure effective and efficient
assortment operations.
Job description



Reporting to the Head of IPR Risk Operation of Lazada Group, you will be
responsible for the following core duties:
Risk Strategy Designing
●
Being the in-country subject matter expert for product-related risks
with emphasis on IPR risk across SEA countries.
●
Serve as the operation lead of the Regional IPR team in developing and
implementing short-term and long-term risk control strategies for the
enforcement of Lazada’s brand protection efforts.
●
Serve as the data master of IPR risk operation by gathering and
analysing relevant raw data, identify process improvement
opportunities and drive improvement of risk operation performance
base on the data insights.
Product Risk Management
●
Validate IPR risk events for factual accuracy, identify cause and
remedial measures/action plans for products/processes to prevent
recurrency. Transform risk problems into validated solutions using
technology, data science and analytics.
●
Assess existing risk monitoring tools and processes for effectiveness
and drive related enhancements.
Project Management
●
Participating and creating impacts in regional projects relating to
implementation of IPR policies and strategies with other functions such
as Customer Care, Platform Policy, Commercial, Logistics, Local
Security teams.
●
Being the owner of all IPR risk operational policies, you will be
required to update, develop, and execute these policies with internal
stakeholders and promote a IPR compliance welcome environment in
Lazada through different form of projects.
●
Working closely with the Alibaba Cooperate Risk Operation teams
based in Hangzhou, as well as the local Security & Risk Management
Team across Lazada’s 6 operating countries on matters relating to
Lazada’s IPR Strategy & Risk, to understand their processes and
systems, identify areas for improvement, and establish a strategy to
address these needs in SEA.
Vendor Team Operation
●
Be directly responsible for the results of the vendor operation by
leading IPR risk review team (>20 members) for complaints/appeals of
account registration, account take over, document verifications, risk
screening, infringements investigations, and disputes for IPR holders,
to meet the established service levels.
●
Source new vendor partners or expand scope of service offering with
current vendor partners. Assist with all vendor headcount related
matters including growth, new lines of business and managing attrition
targets with partners.


Job requirements
●
Bachelor’s or Master degree in Data Science / Economic & Business/ Risk
Management/ Statistics & Math/ Computer Science or related fields, with
some knowledge of IPR protection.
●
3 years+ of experience in one or more of the following areas: Data
analytics, Strategy and Operations, Strategy Consulting, Risk
Management, Trust and Safety, Policy Development, prefer in the
eCommerce or Tech industry in general.
●
Advance competency in data analysis/mining/visualization of structed/
unstructured data using SQL and analytical tools such like SAS, R,
Python, Tableau is a must-have. Able to use data to create and improve
business strategies.
●
Strong project management skills, with experience in collaborating
with different business and technical stakeholders. Able to develop and
execute project plans, independently monitor, and ensure timely
delivery of project deliverables.
●
Demonstrated capacity for critical thinking and analysis with strong
attention to detail.
●
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and
effectively liaise with people at all levels.
●
Fluent English in both written and spoken.
●
Able to travel within the region when required.
●
Singapore citizens / PR preferred.
Preferred qualifications:
●
Tracked records in leading a team to develop and implement regional
level risk migration strategy/product of Tech industry.
●
Experience with AI and machine learning, and hands on experience in
NLP, neural network, decision score card etc.
