1) there r quite a number of brokerage house here: Poems, OCBC, DBS Vickers, UOB KayHiang, GK Goh etc. u can go to their website to have a look, just search in yahoo.com.sg
2) u also need to open an CDP account with SGX. i think most brokerage house will do it for u. (correct me if wrong becoz long time ago liao)
3) i open account with OCBC becoz after comparison, i found its commision charge is the lowest in town (correct me if wrong). u can just go to their investment center and open an account, very fast. u need fill in some forms there and bring ur IC.
4) it takes 3-5 days to activate ur (online) account, they will mail u ur uid/passwd in seperate mails. after that u can start trading.
5) they also will tell u who is ur broker/remiser, u can feel free to call/ broker to clarify anything.
