DJ Singapore Press Holdings Announces Changes To STI Index
SINGAPORE (Dow Jones)--Singapore Press Holdings Ltd. (T39.SG) said Wednesday it is removing four stocks from Singapore's Straits Times Index of leading listed companies and adding six.
BIL International Ltd. (B16.SG), Dairy Farm International Holdings Ltd. (D01.SG), Haw Par Corporation Ltd. (H02.SG) and TPV Technology Ltd. (0903.HK) will be removed, the compiler of the index said in a statement.
Thai Beverage Public Company Ltd. (Y92.SG), Suntec REIT (T82U.SG), Olam International Ltd. (O32.SG), Genting International Public Ltd. (G13.SG), Labroy Marine Ltd. (L26.SG) and CapitaCommercial Trust (C61U.SG) will be added to the index.
The changes take effect from the start of trading on Feb. 5.
The main criterion used in the review of component stocks was liquidity as measured by the average daily value traded over one year, SPH said.
Market capitalization and free float were also taken into account, it said.
