Prepayments, deposits and other receivables increased from RMB278.7 million as at 31 December 2007
to RMB1,159.2 million as at 31 December 2008. Approximately RMB1,155.5 million (2007: RMB277.5)
was advanced to distributors to facilitate the setting up of approximately 358 (2007: 100) new stores in
21 (2007: 20) provinces/cities during the year ended 31 December 2008. The RMB277.5 million
advanced to distributors in 2007 was fully collected in 2008.
