Similar to last year, the preliminary competitions will be held at the respective zonal level, where the winners at the zonal level will then meet together to compete in the grand finals. 甘榜格南快棋赛 (个人 8 Mar, 双人 9 Mar)

茶阳杯 started today for East Cluster Schools U14 and U16, .....as 王兴南 was not in Singapore, I went to help 陈茂然 at Anglican High School. I reached the school early and went to school sport hall to watch a basketball game played by Chung Cheng High School against Dunman High School. There were 35 and 33 players for U14 and U16 respectively and they played 4 rounds this afternoon, they will continue with 3 more rounds tomorrow afternoon before a prize giving for the Top 8, the Top 25 % will join the finals on 15 & 16 Mar at Kampong Glam C.C.. 林耀森 and 李国华 visited the school too.

city hall地铁站旁边的那个大教堂一直有特大华文条幅：让我们“暗暗”的跟随他。后来看英文，是说quietly follow GOD 华文一词用错，变成GOD是地下特务，只能暗暗做事。。。

Summary Information of 2008 Bishan Cup Day 1 -- 1 Mar 2008 ..... out of 57 players registered by Jan 2008, 5 did not turn up for the event, one disappeared after two rounds. for the remaining 51 players, the distribution of the first 20 at the end of day 1, after 4 rounds, are as below : 8 points -- 3 players 7 points -- 2 players 6 points -- 9 players 5 points -- 6 players there are 5 more rounds for today. we may consider prizes for under 15 years old or team members. prize giving to be held this evening at 9 pm.
