How can I configure linux so that it can automatically resolve netbios name to IP address just as windows does? For example, when I browse www.xiaonan.com, there is a link which uses netbios name. If I click that link in linux, the linux can not resolve the IP address from the netbios name. How can I configure linux so that linux can resolve IP address no matter whether the link is an DNS name or a netbios name?
