i know the cfo and few other people in the investment side...they are quite traditional asset manager, but recently start to look at some new ideas like cdos... in terms of the salary, totally no idea. but briefly remember, once a friend said the pay was just normal compare to local banks... anyway, if you are junior people, the salary in any house is peanuts, hence need to get into the right market and keep imporve.... good luck....
