If you apply for those univ where teaching is undergone with non-Engnlish language, the success of applying is very high so long as ur univ performance is not bad.

Otherwise, it depends on how lucky you are. <of course, univ performance is a factor> coz Singaporean is given the first priority of IE. However, so far as I know, there are not so many local students applying for IE.

Going abroad for a semester's study is not definitely good. I think it depends. You better consider whether u gain or lose by IE.Then, consider if you are going to apply.
