请问关于Cable上网的情况，多谢^_^请问各位前辈、大侠、少侠、小侠
刚刚找好房子，房间里面有网线，但是信号没有接通，请问应该去哪里申请cable 上网？
还听说SCV可以上网，还可以看电视，应该去那个公司申请线路呢？是Starhub，还是Singtel？
对这个事情不太明白，据说接通了线路之后，还要买Router，是吗？
哪位能给各公司网站的链接最好啦，先谢谢各位啦

小答一下前年的时候我在Clementi附近住过一段, 算是有一定经验吧... :P
要用CABLE, 以前是找SCV. 自从被Starhub收购以来, 现在改名叫Maxonline 1500了. 每个月58, 无限流量, 非常不错的.(以前75)
注意, Maxonline只能上网, 要看有线电视要另外收费, 也归Starhub管.
另: 个人人为, Cable Modem比ADSL速度快, 不过还得看具体你住在什么地方咯.

for router I recommend US Robotics, about S$150 for 6 points...price may not be precise but this brand is very stable.[Kula (4-16 23:10, Long long ago)]

呵呵，问我吧--前SCV Cable Modem临时工。总的来说SCV在clementi 的performance会比较好，因为是属于 SCV总部的范围,use Ayar Rajah hub. 号码是68737373，不知现在改了没有。
