读nus,ntu的价值在哪里？国内一流的大学一流学生毕业后去美国深造，拿人家的scholarship,回来怎么也得是个院长院士级别的。
运气差一点地去了加拿大，也有钱拿，那边地大，移民也很舒服，有机会去美国上上班。
也有来这边的读的，也有钱拿。毕业了去美国开个会，没工作的phd再弄个postdoc做做。
有钱的去了uk，aus之类的，大多数自己拿钱了。据说那边毕业后英文也能忽悠倒一多半不会英语的。
这边呢，读的英文，很少说的，本地人说的，不会英文的都听得出和传统英文不太像。
这边不少prof级的有马来西亚的，也有中国的，
据不全面了解，马来的不懂学术，中国的没法英文交流，不知道这个小道消息对不对。
工作呢，不晓得。钱听说给不少，做得不知道是不是自己喜欢的。这边主要是金融发达。
本地毕业本地工作，活的舒服，

我的想法我觉得学习和工作在新加坡，都是很宝贵的经验。
入乡随俗是免不了的。
价值观是在过程中形成的。
读书的价值在于获取知识，能在某一领域里有所特长，提高这门领域里的生产力，造福于社会。

本人在新加坡读完本科之后到美国继续读，现在在伦敦实习。

你简直孤陋寡闻到吓人的地步，你以为现在还是10年，20年前？？？
现在海龟多如牛毛，别说美国普通学校的PHD,就是TOP20的，回国几乎不可能拿到一线大学的副教授，基本从讲师做起。 浙大那个跳楼的海龟博士，清华本科，西北博士，博士后，正宗的美国TOP20,在浙大讲师都没拿到。
你看看上海财大去年招的讲师里面有多少是美国TOP20商学院的博士，有几个是沃顿商学院的？！

你到过加拿大吗？加拿大除了温哥华哪里舒服了？？冬天六个月，8个月，能把你冻死。。。
你以为美国就是天堂？？ 很多大城市过了7点就没跟敢在大街上走，治安极差，亚特兰大，巴尔迪摩，华盛顿圣路易斯都属于这些。就是在美国工作的，你以为人人都在GOOGLE，思科拿10几万？
很多在小公司也就5，6万，税后也就3，4万。。

你这小道消息完全不对。
中国的我估计英语还是要比你这种LOSER 流利一些。
至于很多50-60的教授，的确水平不高，NTU 的很多都是原来建校的时候招的，那时候招教职门槛的确不高。。你看看新进的教授。像NTU 的生化这种新的学院，你看看有多少耶鲁，斯坦福的博士在里面？？！！！
新加坡的学校相当不差，除了英国G5，牛剑，UCL,IC,LSE，加拿大UT，瑞士苏黎世理工，德国马普，日本东京，京都，美国TOP20
没有什么学校敢说强过NUS,NTU，NUS 的公告政策，医学，工程都很不错
NTU 商学院，工程，传媒这些也都不弱。
NUS,NTU 跟香港的港大，港科技在亚洲是第一流的，在世界上也有一席之地
不管你受到了什么打击。。。劝你回去歇歇
别发这种骚扰NUS,NTU 学生的帖子了。。

what i know is all about the history a couple of decades ago.
at that time, academic accomplishments made the difference.
a certificate aboard probably meant you could possibly get everything you want.

nowadays, academic sucks. as you said, top college graduates failed to get the decent positions at university. my question is, what the hell did you do in the USA? Why? You wanna make you a case of failure one more time? after years of study, you still can't get the decent postion at university? best case scenario, you will get a good one. so far, you are not. you are in the fucking internship, which means you choose industry over academics.
i've never been to north america, coz of english problem i used to encounter and a bit of bad luck. i believe the long term winter is there in Canada. but i can't trust anyone could be chilled to death. for me, i don't like there. there's no way to froze me that way. got it?
for the 7 o' clock cases in the USA, let't look at the other side of the story you tell. criminals are hanging out at that time. that's why the crime happens. or the ghosts are doing the same. either way, you are not convincing anyone. my advice is, pretending one of the criminals, and hanging out at night in any of american streets.
30k USD is more that enough for most the people other than you. you are a bit greedy, btw.
if you post an english essay replacing the one you made above, it is a bit close to let me say your english is better somewhat. right now, forget it. you can do more as you wish.

in the end, i have to make my it clear. i am not attacking any college anywhere. My point is, if i work hard to be enrolled and finally get graduated, what's the advantages for me? i guess the old fashion way of chinese article confused you, i am truly sorry. hopefully, the english one would not do the same.
i am depressed for unemployment. when the clock is on, i go the bed as usual. your school mates are smart way better than you are. they are learning in the silence and having the fun out of it. you are simply fighting for the wrong target. don't mislead the public.

我的FYP的老板是马来西亚华人，很佩服他虽然在Astar IME 工作，每个周末还去上班，因为他喜欢科研。
