do you know for a xiangqi club or SIXGA, how much they need to spend in a year ?
In Bishan Xiangqi Club, we spent more than $32,000 in 6 years, i.e. average more than $5,000 per year.
In SIXGA 2008 AGM, I notice that SIXGA spent close to $29,000 in FY 2007.
In 2008 Singapore Open, total of cash prizes is more than $8,000, total expenses should be more than $10,000. Where to get all these funds ? If Boon Lay C.C. is willing to fund 3 years of Singapore Open, as xiangqi lovers, we should show our appreciations, to both SIXGA and Boon Lay C.C. for working out the arrangements, by say joining the competition or give support in whatever way we could, instead of talking on the bad points only, negative feedback with proposed solutions should be a better approach.
How to solve the funding problem after 3 years ???
