A well known leading foreign commercial bank has a solid regional and global
footprint. It is also the largest bank in the world in terms of market capitalization,
and is a stock-listed company. The Singapore branch provides corporate banking
products and services to its clients and has been expanding since last year. It is
seeking a corporate banking relationship manager within syndication loan and
construction finance experience to join corporate banking department
Responsibilities:
•Performing close monitoring of the corporate lending portfolio as and
when there are events or changes to the borrowers’ financial status
Assisting in the preparation of credit facilities such as credit applications,
credit reviews, financial analysis and cash flow modeling etc.
Providing portfolio management for existing loans to ensure complete
compliance with terms of approval in the bank's credit policy
Following existing loans to ensure complete compliance with terms of
approval
Developing a network of prospective client referral sources through
community and business development activities
Effectively representing the bank while calling on potential or existing
customers to develop new business and expand client relationships
Maintaining corporate banking-client relationships
Following existing loans to ensure complete compliance with terms of
approval
Reviewing customer annual financial reports and post loan monitoring
Carrying out RM’s KYC (Know Your Customer) reviews
•Requirements:
•Bachelor/diploma degree in accountancy, banking or business
management with working experience with 3 to 5 years of syndication loan and
construction finance experience in a corporate banking position
Possess sharp business acumen, leadership qualities and excellent
interpersonal and communication skills
Candidates with strong experience handling customers with heavy asset
financing requirements are preferred
Spoken English and Mandarin are necessary. Mandarin is essential for
the role because majority of the corporate clients you deal with are Chinese
counterparts
Excellent communication skills in English
Proficient in MS Word & MS Excel
