egypt embassy near to orchardstudent pass, photos, cash(around 50), 10 work days, one entry staying for one month.
re-entry permit could be applied in Cairo. Very cheap.
Visa extension in Cairo to three months. Also cheap.

已经去过大使馆了，具体的办证情况如下：
1.Prepare the following documents:
Student pass
Passport
Student status---NUS students can get it from "student affairs office located AT E3
Letter of Guarantor from the travel agent
bank statement of your account
2.Proceed to the egyptian embassy at 75 Grange Road personally

Letter of Guarantor from the travel agent 是什么？不需要提供机票和旅馆证明么？而且大概需要多少个工作日?

letter of guarantor是由旅行社写给大使馆方面的信。说明你是参加他们的旅游行程
不用出示机票。
交完所有的文件后等10个工作日才会被告知签证申请成不成功，如果成功，带上护照和s$48（？忘记具体多少了）去给钱。
再等上三天就能拿到了。
我到现在还没拿到。。。郁闷

埃及签证都是要本人到大使馆去签的。（不知道有没有回答到你的问题。。。）
