Java Software Engineer

Position responsibilities:

To participate in software development and maintenance
.
To work on development and maintenance of a document management software.
To design, code and document features developed.
To build, and patch software releases.
To investigate software problems and conduct root cause analysis of the problems


Essential skills and experience required:

Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
Minimum two years of experience in development of Web applications in Java EE platform
Basic SQL skills (preferably SQLServer, Oracle, Postgres, DB2) and ability to write SQL script is required
Technically proficient in Java, JSP, servlet, XML, UTF8, Tomcat, Eclipse
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good command of English
Ability to work in a team as well as independently
Good communication skill


Location of work and working hours:
Science Park, Singapore, 8:45 to 17:30 (Monday to Friday)
