i've taken this module, under Abhikand the TA then is Soo Yuen Juen(?) very eye-opening module, it touches on the major paradigms of programming, like imperative programming, functional programming, logic programming, OO programming and such. If i'm not wrong, CS2104 used to be the pre-requisite of CS3212, which I'm taking this semester. Anyway, do you have any other questions? I'll try to answer. :)

GAH is BT! why? ==>when i took CS1231, he was the lecturer. He gave 70+ fail among 400 - 500 takers....

this sem 3212 just requires passing 1102...

I've not taken 3212 yet, so don't know much abt it

i have.the lecturer is Dr. Abhik. I like him! He's a responsible and humorous lecturer, also he's very very kind~~~ If i'm not wrong, he'll teach the 1st semester, so u can consider it this sem. The module is useful i think. At least it gaves a general idea about Programming Language, which will be very useful for ur further studies. Maybe many of ur seniors think 3212 is much more useful, bt normally u have to take it in ur 3rd year. So it seems reasonable and useful to take 2104 in ur 2nd yr if you wanna know more abt PL. :) good luck!
