请问: 关于读研的MOE的permission小弟拿到了NUS ECE 的Ph.D 的 offer, 现在要申请MOE的Permission, 有几点不是很清楚, 请教有经验的筒子. 有几份东西要寄给MOE: 1. written application to pursue postgraduate course 这里都要写些什么? 大概多长? 2. Testimonials/recommendations 要交几份? 一般申请寄出后多久才能被approve 或一般怎样才能被approve? 那个supplementary deed 什么时候签? 多谢帮助!

MOE policy changes all the time. The latest news is they will generally let the university to decide whether you are capable of undertaking a postgraduate study, i.e. less strict policy now.

Written application is basically about why/how much you want to undertake a postgraduate program, how capable you are etc. I have known that some just wrote a few sentences whereas some other ppl wrote a few pages.

For recommendations, one copy can do already. Of course it is doesn't hurt to submit two or more copies. It would be good if you can get a recommendation from the offeror.
