范永康, a player from Hong Kong, with a rating of 2281. In last year Hong Kong Chinese Chess Individual competition (group B), he was ranked 8th and was promoted to the Group A competition for the first time. In Hong Kong, I think he is a 三段 player from the results he achieved in the individual competition. 八段 is their Masters and 九段 is their GM.

He and 王振中 led their team 天天快活人 to Champion in Hong Kong Team Competition in 2005. The team members consist of 陈志文 (Hong Kong Master)，郑剑文，周世杰 and 范永康.

He had a draw game against Hong Kong GM 赵汝权 (2659)

In this year team competition, they sent in 2 teams and got 2nd and 4th respectively. 范永康 is in the team that got 4th. In both pictures, 范 is the one that is receiving the trophy.

In this ongoing National Chinese Chess Competition 2007 (Singapore), he has used the same opening for all 7 rounds so far (I think he is giving a handicap of about 二先). He has not shown his understanding for all the popular openings yet. For those who are going to play group A competition, just take note of this person, if he did indeed join the group A competition.

Of course last 1 to 2 rounds can isolate top 2 boards from the crowd for them to concentrate.

NO 旁观 in xiangqi is the same as no 观众 in stadium in a soccer or basketball game.

大家可以去问一下队员，在足球或篮球场上，观众声音极大，队员根本听不到队友的叫喊和教练的指示。
足球，篮球也是非常需要用大脑思考的。

但SPORTS的前提就是－－－－－－观众第一，观众至上！

象棋也应如此。

没记错的话，香港连续两年不参加A组就自动退回B组。
新加坡可以从3到4年开始实行。即A组选手必须在3到4年中参加一个A组。
