虫儿飞写在回家之前
夏日黄昏夕阳熄灭之后，蛙鸣合奏。山涧草丛，灌木林间，一盏盏悬挂在空中的小灯渐次亮了，像是与繁星争露，又像是对对情侣提灯夜游…… 在夜空中，萤火虫更象一点水，从天空滑落，这是我的感觉。
这是一种神奇而又美丽的昆虫。 “银烛秋光冷画屏，轻罗小扇扑流萤”，这是小时候背的唐诗中的绝妙佳句，可惜当时还不知道什么意思。萤火虫似乎适宜出现冷色调的背景，并善于引发某些悲凉的心境。
萤火虫喜欢生活在潮湿、多水、杂草丛生的地方，特别是溪水、河流两岸，我国曾有一句古语叫"腐草生萤"，反映的就是这种习性,不知道咱中国的河流算不算多, 不然,咋那么多女生名字里面,都喜欢用个萤字(目前尚未发现用"蝇"的,等所有的河流被污染以后应该会有的把,反正咋祖国地大物博,啥稀奇事,都有)。本来这是种性格较阴冷的昆虫，但喜欢它的人很多，也许中国人的性格忧郁的一面多了的缘故吧。李商隐大哥在《隋宫》中，也有“于今腐草无萤光，终古垂杨有暮鸦”之句,写得很忧伤，还有黛玉姐姐在《红楼梦》中说得也挺有哲理：萤是草化的。萤做青草的时候，把绿色和生机献给大地；化为流萤后，给黯淡的黑夜带来光亮，(小时候,真想问一句,萤做青草的时候?,那青草是什么做的,现在不敢廖,�

There are fireflies in Singapore!!!!
You cannot see them around you because you are in concrete forest all the time.
If you like to catch one, you can go to Bukit Timah Hill-at night-when darkness falls onto the rainforest, you go along the small path with a small torch light, then you will see one or two green light spot moving around you----that is firflies!!
An alternative choice is Pulau Ubin or Sister Island. Similarly, you need to be there at night, prepare your insect net, and make a good catch!!
Attn: Don't catch too many at a time!!
