if you take very long time loan, say , eg, 30 years, then after 10 years if you want to sell it, even at that time it appreciated a lot (say 50%), the actual cash in your hand is still very very little, much are going into CPF account, which is virtually useless until age 65.
so suggest to take shorter loan if you want to have an option to sell it earlier.
