昨天看到washington post says gugou can hardly abandon its chinese users to whom it is to provide much more valuable information even under strictures of government regulation (i.e. be china law-abiding) than the indigenous Baidu (implied that baidu is a communist-clad company). so to evangelise gugou's belief in lucre and some vague transcendence which gugou never understand, nor you, it may necessarily stay, but leaving is an option too.

　　盖茨是在接受美国广播公司《早安美国》节目访问时发表上述谈话。

　　访谈触及谷歌近日与中国政府的争执，而盖茨指出，互联网在全球各地都遭到不同方式的审查，但事实仍然证明，它始终能够促进社会开放与意见交流。

　　盖茨说：“进入一个国家后，你必须决定：你要不要遵守它的法律？如果不遵守的话，那么你最后可能也做不成生意。”他没有点名谷歌。

　　“中国政府对互联网的审查是很有限的，要避开其实不难，所以我觉得保持互联网在那里蓬勃发展非常重要。”
