For students who matriculated in or after 1995, HR3101 is given two modular credits (or half a module) and letter grades will be awarded to HR3101. The grade for HR3101 will also be used in the computation of the CAP. Students matriculated in academic years 1997/98 and 1998/99 are required to pass HR3101.
Students matriculated in 2000/2001 or later must read and pass HR3111, which carries 3 MC, instead of HR3101. The grade for HR3111 will also be used in the computation of the CAP.
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that he/she completes HR3101/HR3111. All students may sign up for this module anytime after they have completed 14 modules (or 56 MC for new students). Registration for HR3101/HR3111 ends at 12 noon on the Friday of Week 1 in each semester. The class lists will be displayed on the Faculty noticeboards and the Faculty of Science webpage on the following day. It is the student’s responsibility to check the noticeboards or the Web for class allocation.
