Maxtor 80G. I have several questions.

1) Whether can recover data or not? Any tool?
My MB cannot detect this HD. Just hang there when detecting it. Showing "Press F4 to skip", but no effect after pressing F4.

2) How long is Maxtor HD's warranty?
I bought in last November.


3) Shall I send it to the seller or maxtor service center? BTW, where is Maxtor's service center?
