Application for Certificate of No Criminal Conviction (CNCC)
Certificate of No Criminal Conviction also known as CNCC is issued by the Criminal Investigation Department to certify that a person has no criminal conviction in Singapore within a stipulated period of time. It is issued for immigration related purposes only.
CNCC is issued to Singapore citizens, Singapore permanent residents and foreigners who have resided in Singapore for more than 6 months and are above the age of 16.
Application Procedure
Applicants currently residing in Singapore are to apply in person to CNCC Office, Police Cantonment Complex, Blk D #02-01A, 391 New Bridge Rd, Singapore 088762. Applicants residing in a foreign country may apply by mail to the same address. Both residents and non-residents must satisfy the following requirements:
>> A full set of fingerprint impressions taken by a qualified fingerprint official. Residents applying in person will be fingerprinted at the CNCC Office. Non-residents may have the fingerprints taken at the local police station or law enforcement agency of the place currently residing.
>> Photocopies of current passport.
>> Documentary proof of previous stay in Singapore for non Singapore citizens.
>> Documentary proof from the immigration authority requiring the certificate. (A print out of the application requirements is not acceptable.)
>> Two passport-size photographs. Instant photo machine is available outside CNCC office for your convenience. S$7 for 4 passport size photos.
>> Bank Draft in SINGAPORE DOLLARS for S$50.00 (including postage charge of S$5.00) per person, made payable to 'Head Criminal Records CID'. (Applicant applying in person is required to pay S$45.00 and may pay via NETS, cash card or credit card.)
Applications not providing all of the above will be rejected.
CNCC Office operates from 9 am to 12 noon from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. This application will take 14 days to process.
