My wife and I stayed overnight at the Terminal 2 lounge after a flight from Detroit. The cost was 480RMB ($76USD). The next day we had a domestic flight to Guangzhou, China then on to Kathmandu, Nepal. Before I left home, I contacted the Chinese Embassy and they said that as long as I did NOT leave the airport property, I did not have to get a Chinese VISA.

除非航班是24号凌晨一两点的，不然怎么提前这么久办理值机
（比如是下午的航班）和出关呢？
出关的时候，不是还会核对登机牌了和护照信息吗？
反过来倒还可能可以冒险试一下。等到10号凌晨才入境，不知道这种在机场Loitering 的可不可以。当然这个还牵涉到托运行李。肯定要去行李服务柜台咨询了。
还是花个小钱办个签证吧。
