over the past one year, the leaders of two clubs have spoken to me that they have no more interests of xiangqi activities in future.

We will plan with maximum of 11 teams now for 碧山杯象棋团体赛 if it is a 棋队团体赛 and keep the two clubs in the kiv-list (whether they are still active in the coming years), alternatively, if it is a 社区团体赛, then we do not need to look into whether there are enough teams for the 团体赛.

Regardless 棋队团体赛 or 社区团体赛, we are looking at 双五台制 (to have 10 players to play at the same time but allow the forming of joint-team by two different clubs), AB分级制 and 队员个人赛排名总分制 for Team of 5 members. (团体赛 up to 5 [75-min fix] rounds or 个人赛 up to 9 [45-min fix] rounds, within one or two days.) [双五台制团体赛 can handle 11 teams in 5 rounds.]

We are seeking inputs to the above concept.

As mentioned, we are likely to go slow in this study and hope to have 碧山杯象棋团体赛 in 2013 or earlier.

This study is to be covered by one of the 6 study groups to be formed soon below.
