Phnom Penh + Sihanoukville + Bangkok travel log流水+记账,just FYI...not worth reading if you are not going there...
23rd Nov Singapore – Phnom Penh
My flight from Singapore touched down in Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia at about 8:00pm. There wasn’t much problem with the Visa-On-Arrival, settled with US$20 and five minutes. But it took me slightly longer time compare to other travelers at the VOA counter and then the immigration counter, guess might because of the People’s Republic of China written on the passport cover again.
A few taxi touts bothered me after I came out from the arrival hall. But I think they are still easier to be ignored than the ones in China. A motorbike was waiting for me while I bargained with the taxi touts, and he offered $2, I just got on the bike without much hesitation.
It was basically an uneventful journey to my guesthouse, only that the non-English speaking motor driver didn’t know his way around very well and had to stop a few times to ask other tuk tuk or motor dri (more...)
hate the fee of VOA and departure tax of Thai
