因为不知道应聘单位是哪家，cover letter写不出什么。给agent的信应该强调点什么呢？谢谢。

1, what do you want to do
2, what do you want the salary to be - give a range
3, where do you prefer to work - the location
4, your contact - hp is the best, but do not forget ur email

我看到过我一个认识的人的resume，
是agent转到我老板手里的，
cover letter明显已经被agent re-writte过的
CV也是，
我只能说如果不是名字，学校和照片，我只能当是个同名的人。。。。

当然，如果agent require，那就另当别论了。。。。

原贴我的意思可能没表达清楚，有agent替某家公司招人，因不知对方具体的情况，所以很迷惑不知道怎样写cover letter。看你们的回复，感觉可以向各agent公司自荐？这样的话，会不会向求职者收费？

dun know if it is 自荐. feel like that you can just write to agency and tell them what you want and if they happen to have vacancies (which happens all the time) and feel you are the right candidates, they will ask you for interview and recommend u to the company (if u are the lucky one lah)

most of the time, agencies will not charge the 求职者 but the company who hired them to employ people.

If you want to send a cover letter as well, u can just regard this agency as the company and then write the cover letter. Because by all means, agencies are helping the company to employe people. Cover letter shows more on your writting skills than resume, so a nice cover ltter can be helpful some time.

首先agent only charge client company, so candidates no need to pay.
then if u write to agent,如果是看到招聘广告的,写cover page,注明你要应聘的职位.如果是自荐,email里面至少也要写点东西, 写上你想要的职业方向也比较好,resume尽量详细, 列明你的工作经验和技能.一份过于简单的resume通常我是看过就丢去一边了.
面试的时候,如果是商科的,一定要穿正装,工程类的要求不严格,不过formal一点总是比较好的.
