OK，若上述原则比较难以落实，那么首先的一点是，在职业或者生活的过程中，尽量去做不可替代的事情。如果你的机构里一半以上有你的类似的技能，那么你便很无趣；若只有1/4，那么你可能有些机会；若只有1/10，那么你会被重视；若只有1/100，那么你会受到特别关注；若几乎没有人懂得你的技能，那么，你会很有趣。

I've seen cases that one guy have performed so well in a certain role that people think he'd better stay at his current position...
I think broaden your skills across various functions of the organization is important as well.... Specialized is good to quickly move to middle level, but too specialized is a bottleneck to move further.
