litho is one of the critical module in the whole process, I saw lots of master or phd graduate working on this module. Process engineer could be a very steady position, your salary increasement will be very slow at the first few years, but once you accumulate enough experience, your market value will be much higher. But anyway, since you are a phd graduate, you can ask for either engineer 1 or senior enigeer position. good luck for you.
