CFA究竟有用吗?现在大家考CFA成风,请问在投行/wealth managememnt 工作的学长, CFA是去Front desk barginning chip ma?

no use for trading or structuring, but probably useful for sales, M&A, corporate finance...
Better than nothing, but only CFA is not enough ....
Internship is most important, haha if you can get one in school.
just got some new guys in our team, all from internship.... seldom see fresh people without internship in asia now, market changing fast...not like old days...
In fact, any new guys join the market in last half year? see market slow down a lot....bad timing for coming batch people....
05 and 06 are really good years to join this market...
