Ideal candidates will have the following skill sets:

- PhD / MS from top tier university with a focus on Computer Science / Machine Learning & AI / Engineering / Statistics.

- A skilled programmer with strong hands on OOP skills and an understanding of common data structures and algorithms.

- Experience with Python and/or C++ is a plus.

- Financial software experience is a strong plus (but not a must).

- Experience with large, multi-developer code-bases (i.e. open source projects / internships) is a plus.

- Experience in Linux scripting.

- Ability to clearly communicate, think independently and be an excellent problem solver. The position is well suited for an entrepreneurial spirit.

Frontend Developer

As a Frontend Developer, you will work closely with our technology team to build new feature and improvements in our current Frontend interface. We are looking for a truly passionate, highly motivated candidate who is excited in design & technology at its core.

ACTIVITIES YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

Prototyping & Designing new functionality and interface
Improving our current frontend templates
Implementing solutions in JavaScript/Python/HTML5/BootStrap CSS
Working closely with our team to integrate the new visual designs and functionality coded
Brainstorming and suggesting new product features together with the management team

Requirements

Has deep experience in client-side technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, BootStrap CSS and responsive design techniques
Has worked before in a Python / Django / angular.js environment
Familiar with ngnix webserver and Linux platform
Experience with Git version control system and BitBucket repository
Has a good sense of what is required to design a great user interface
Has familiarity with “Lean Design” processes - rapid prototyping, iterative development, and continuous product deployment
Is highly independent, thrive on autonomy
Has a positive attitude and likes to have fun...a lot!
Is hard working and wants to grow in an ambitious trading environment
