they are a group of ppl representing the same principle, not necessary for financial advisor, like housing agent can also use it. this can be understood as what we normally called agency, which usually have a pyramid management structure.

As a AIA Financial Services Consultant, our agency is called Katherine Soh & Associates. It simply means the toppest boss is called Katherine Soh :)

of coz different agencies market different products. Financial Advisor is more like a sales job which gives you unlimited ceiling for income, networking and enjoyment. Only apply it if you think you are interested in this line.
