I m using a desktop and my friend s using a labtop. **************************************************************************** Situation: When i tried to connect my comp to ANY port of the router, it alwasy gave me access to internet. However when i connect my friend's labtop to t router : 1, it shows the local area connection is up 2, when i tried to ping global site like google.com, sina.com, 6park.com, it all works 3, I can see my own computer in the workgroup computers 4, Both computers were set to "auto allocate IP address" (Depends on which port of the router is used, my IP will be like .1 and the labtop will be like .2 or .3 or .4) ****************************************************************************** Problem: Using the labtop, i just couldn't access ANY website using IE.
