(个人看法)今天在arts canteen的所见所闻今天去了arts canteen吃东西,lunch time的时候人特别的多,所以跟朋友花了十多分钟才好不容易等到了一张桌子,然后就放下东西去买东西吃了.坐下吃的时候,在旁边的桌子来了三个新加坡人,他们把各自的书包放下后,也去买东西吃了.过了两三分钟以后,一个女生拿着她的书包,跟买的食物,就那么地在旁边的桌子上坐下了,后来,她的朋友也拿着东西坐下.开始,我也不为意,以为她们是那几个男生的朋友.....
接着她们大概就说了那么两句话吧.
女生一:找到位置了,过来坐吧
女生二:嗯,没人吗?
女生一:先坐着吧
后来那几个男生买了食物回来,看到这场景,傻眼了....
然后那几个可怜男生手上捧着一杯水,一碟饭,可怜巴巴地跟那两个女生说了是他们的位置,书包还在呀,去买东西而已,那两个女生就说:你们不介意的话,我们一起坐呀.
汗!
偶记得在不久前在science canteen遇到过一次,就是去买东西回来,发现位置上坐着个陌生人.......因为是两个人的座位,偶也不打算对着一个影响食欲的人吃饭,所以忍一忍就换个位置坐了.没想到在arts吃饭两年,今天也遇到了一次....
然后偶的朋友说,在science canteen这样的情况见多也不怪了,他的书包还曾经被人推到旁边的桌子上,然后桌子上的人若无其事的,连� (more...)

the purpose of canteen is for people who patronize the food stores. Nobody should reserve the seats with their bags or even themselves without food. I don't see anything wrong with what the ladies behavior. My German advisor and two of his aus students also did that. When the guys who put their bags came back and confronted them, they responce is also simply:" You can join us if you want". Until today, they are still proud of it what they did. I don't know why ppl always want to link this kind of stuff to chinese nationals behavior. This is obvious not ture.
