to the application, HDB may take the necessary legal action against the seller and buyer.
17.2 In addition to other remedies, the Housing and Development Act (Chapter 129) provides that
any person who makes a false statement is liable to a fine not exceeding $5,000/- or to
imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months, or to both.
