【房】买家有办法提前结束extension of stay吗？签otp的时候卖家要了两个月的extension，我们1月初exercise otp，本来预计五月初可以拿钥匙。
但实际情况是我们1月2日准备submit application时，卖家说没找好律师，我们处于理解愿意等他们找到律师了再提交，最后双方一起在1月24日提交。后来又遇到春节假期，hdb officer放假，我们的completion date被拖到了4月6日，也就是6月初才能交钥匙，比预计的晚了一个月。我们和中介商量可不可以早几天交钥匙，结果被卖家中介一口回绝，理由是卖家想等女儿放假了再搬家。我们还在租房，月头多住几天还要多交一个月房租，所以希望中介能联系卖家再争取下，但已经两周了还没有给任何回复。
其实extension agreement有写
Either the Sellers or the Buyers may cancel the private arrangement for the Temporary Extension of Stay at any time before the completion date of the resale of Flat. Sellers and Buyers are advised to provide in their private agreement what will happen in this instance, including issues of compensation etc.
目前交易还需要一个月才完成，我们是有权利直接取消的。但我没也不想关系搞得太糟，只希望能在五月拿钥匙�

从好处看，六月多租一个月虽然房租多了一些，但收拾新屋子，搬家从容了很多。买房子是开心的事，小损失就不计较了吧，开开心心从从容容搬新家多好！
