新手职业规划， cfa 和 frm有可比性吗？
从工科转商科或者金融，一定要有新的领域中的professional qualification，不是很明确应该怎么走下一步。到底应该拿个什么样的新文凭。
在职业规划的时候，CFA和FRM 如何进行选择呢？

btw u sound pretty young from my observation (forgive me if i am wrong), r usure u wanna make a transition into banking/finance? it took me a few years after graduation to decide my current career path...

so i'm very keen to get a degree or qualification to make me stand in the company.

young huh? ..hehe, how old are u ya...it's nice to hear pple say me young..coz all my juniors say me old everytime i play with them :D
so fresh here..so dunno yet what certificate could i get and where to find one...
what i know so far is cfa, but it takes time...mba...also need some exp before i can apply for...
other than that..dunno much le...

1). CFA...3 years.
2). MFE...full time 1 year NTU, part time 2 year NUS.
3). MBA... INSEAD 1 year full time. US MBA 2 years, UK 1 year full time.
4). Ph.D... NUS 3 year - 5 year part time
5). Master... NUS 1-2 year part time in math, computational science. or economy...
....

在职业规...)CFA more versatile but takes much longer...(at least 3 yrs)FRM takes only 1 year but only helpful if u wanna do RM.
u have to let us know what u really want to do before we can advise further...
why not come to our year-end party and we can chat more?

anyone say sth about frm 's career? diff path with cfa...but how to choose from the two..?
btw, i feel not many pple doing finance in singapore. unlike engineering...got may SM* friends...
