急问--cancel EP 可以提前10天吗？MOM 网站上写在7天内必须去cancel EP，那么我提前10可以吗？

no problemyou have to do the cancellation at least within the 7 days of the termination means that you have to do it at latest ...

so 10 days no problem according to their wording.

and you can always call them to comfirm

Can, but the SVP issued after that will be counted from that day too.Theroically, after you canceled your EP, you cannot be employed and work any more, so supposely you should do it after you finish your last working day. But if you go before that, they will also do it for you. Once the EP is canceled, you'll treated as illegal work if you still work in S'pore. although it was quite long time ago, I still think it is good to have patience when you know clearly that you are dealing with goverment offices:((
