Both NTU and NUS have research on optoelectronics.NUS has a "center for optoelectronics". As I know, most ppl there work more on materials rather than device structure. They have MBE, at least 2 MOCVD systems, and some other machines like ICP and evaporator. There is PL and PA setup also.

Don't know much about NTU side.
