From what I know .........
(sorry if I have grouped the C.C.s wrongly.)


(A) use Bishan Xiangqi Club as an example

so far, we only need members or EXCO members to contribute their times (with token fees given), we will put up proposals to Bishan CCMC for fundings. The main concern is more on manpower and not the fundings. Of course, we could not request for too big the fund, say the need in 团体联赛, unless we want to consider private sponsors too.

There are other C.C.s under this group too, e.g. Kampong Glam C.C..

(B) C.C. with private sponsors

this group of C.C.s can organise even bigger events, manpower is still the main concern, e.g. Nee Soon South C.C., Boon Lay C.C., Buona Vista C.C., Kaki Bukit C.C..

(C) C.C. and private combined

Pasir Ris East C.C. is much more active since early 2007 after the merging with Feiying, you may wish to check with them directly.

(D) not under any C.C., e.g. Beidou

private sponsors are needed, you may wish to check with Beidou for more details.

three existing teams not mentioned in the previous note are Kolam Ayer, Tampines East and Queenstown.

Tonight at SIXGA met 棋一生, we had casual discussion and talked about 团体联赛 too :

(1) in July 2006 联系会议, SIXGA Chairman mentioned about 团体联赛 and having sponsor at that time but quite a few clubs having problems in forming the teams.

(2) Beidou can consider to channel the funding for Top of the Tops Individual Event to 团体联赛 if more prefer the later.

(2) Top of the Tops Individual Event (details to be released later)

(2.1) all xiangqi clubs to hold internal competitions (follow the rules of Asian Xiangqi Federation) to select one Top player.

(2.2) all top players from the various clubs (one player per club) to play in a Grand Finals to select the Top of the Tops.
