1) Thai Village (Strong Buy)
Strong contribution from China operation, which is still growing. Healthy balance sheet with a pile of nett cash. Undemanding valuation at 10 times and good dividend yield at 8% (2c against share price of 25c)
2) Asia Power (Buy)
Potential to ride on China's shortage of Power. Also a potential beneficiary of China's liberalisation of energy market (M&A target)
3) SwingMedia (Buy)
Ridiculously low PE & PEG. But it's "history" of being a victim of market speculation may delay its price appreciation.
The above three are currently very inactive and hence no one is sure when price appreciation will take place. Only for patient investors with a mid-long term horizon. For investors who prefer a faster ride, I recommend HongGuo (Buy)
, which is the next China play after BeautyChina.

you got any good sto...)Hehe, I am holding S08 Singpost now我个人喜欢长线持有股票，我主要是以投资的理念进入新加坡股市，而不是投机。（我刚刚进入新加坡股市不久，不过在中国的股市玩了２年，比较幸运，还没有死，中国的股市除了中集Ｂ以外，我觉得全是投机）通常情况下，在新加坡股市，我选择那种业绩稳定，有稳定分红效益的股票。例如：SMRT, Singpost这样的。通常情况下，这种股票的风险比较小。我注意观察的股票包括：SPH, DBS, Sing Post, SMRT, SGX, SIA, SBS Transit, MobileOne, SingTel. 这些都是业绩稳定，并且在新加坡有一定背景的公司。欢迎大家批判，呵呵。

可不可以来一...)研究一个股票的前景, 先要看公司业务的前景归纳起来, 要看:
1. 行业发展前景, 是朝阳行业还是夕阳行业. 通常前者可以COMMAND较高的P/E
2. 行业中的竞争如何, 群雄并起还是寡头已经出现
3. 所研究的公司在行业中的地位
4. 所研究的公司对未来的展望.
再看:
4. 公司财务状况. BALANCE SHEET, CASH FLOW STATEMENT是否健康. 我偏爱ROE高高, NETT CASH多多,负债少少.
最后看:
5. 公司股价(P/E, P/NTA, P/CF) 是否合理. 有些公司上述4点得分都高但都已经在股价中反映了. 如UNISTEEL.有时看基金持有也有帮助, 如果不止一个基金重仓持有, 那股价潜力已经有限了.

To me, ROE shall be consistently > 15% and Total Debt should be less than a single year's net earnings and nett cash should be enough for a company to expand its operation without the needs for fund raising. All my holdings satisfy my above criteria.
Maybe you may wish to ask me to quantify my statement first before drawing conclusions that my criterion is too stringent. No offense. Hehe...
