need adviceI am planning to buy a new desktop for small home business. Mainly for autocad, surfing and some multimedia playing. I find a system in dell web site but it exceed my budget (about S$1800), Please advice me which part is unnecessary. thanks.

choose i865 chipset rather than i915 chipset saves you around $100mainly for the expensive DDR2 memory and PCIe graphic card

grade down/up details->CPU -> P4 2.4C
MEM -> DDR 400 512*2 (autocad need good memory)
MB - > change to any 865PE chipset
DVD -> 8x or 4x DVD Writer without DL
Graphic -> nvdia5700 (autocad need good graphic)

should save u a lot :D
