statistic都学过什么课啊

就是minor requirement的6门咯MA1102R, ST2131, ST3131, ST2132， （必修） ST3239, ST3234 （自选的） 写email去问过，有minor就算是relevant degree了。可是我cap不好，又没有什么别的成绩，所以比较担心。

主要看今年申请人数多少了ECA没有人会看的，不用管他。 Research Master不出意外的话可以拿到吧我想，当然如果有个统计系认识的老师推荐一下就更好了。但是有没有奖学金就很难说了。相比之下，申请1月入学的会比申请8月入学的容易一点点。

试试看，soc拿stat minor的人不是很多

我一贯的建议: 先联系导师有导师愿意要你, 申请起来容易很多. 先去你感兴趣的教授的网页上看看, 读读他们的publication, 然后发email约时间面谈, 把你感兴趣的项目提出来, 然后讲些心得, 争取得到对方的认同. CAP什么的是基本条件, 满足了就可以了. ECA跟这没关系.

Minor的成绩好的话会比较有说服力另外最好找Stat的prof给你写推荐信，可以找你拿A的那门课的老师。 现在学期还没结束，如果平时没联系什么prof，现在联系联系还来得及。

what simon said isfor example, statistical learning is a part of machine learning, which belongs to A.I. However, it requires a lot of related work from statistic field. If you've done some project, UROP or HYP on such topic, it is of coz some research experience in the relative field, which gonna be very helpful in the application.
