Based on the fact that the issue is not covered under any of the rules except Rule 14 under the tournament Rules & Regulation, the organiser will have final say to ensure what is best for the event. Hence, their decision is final and has to be respected based on their own set of reasons.

Even though there are some differing views of how to proceed with the Quaterfinals Round 8, these should be left to be reviewed should the organiser decide to proceed with current arrangement. By doing so, we don't miss out on the most important people in this tournament, the TOP8 players to give them encouragement and for us not to lose focus on what is important for CHIchess future in Singapore.
